The two are forced to separate during their journey; Mario arrives in the Mushroom Kingdom ruled by Princess Peach (voiced by Anya Taylor-Joy), while Luigi unfortunately gets transported to the Koopa Kingdom ruled by Bowser (voiced by Jack Black). At this moment, Bowser is preparing to launch a massive attack on the Mushroom Kingdom to kidnap the princess and marry her.
