Mel Gibson, Charlie Hannam, and Elsa Gonzalez ("The Great Car Thieves") will star in the action thriller "Waldo" and directed by Tim Kirby ("Life in London" and "Vice President").Based on Howard Gould's novel Last Looks, it tells the story of former Los Angeles police detective Charlie Waldo (Hannum) who is disgraced and currently lives in the woods as a minimalist.His peaceful life comes to an abrupt end when he returns to his private detective job to investigate the murder of a quirky TV star's wife.The film will be filmed in the first quarter of 2019.
