Synopsis

Princess Yuan Yuan (played by Miriam Yeung) is the long-awaited daughter of the emperor, but she has an extremely unpleasant body odor that no royal physician can solve. Since childhood, no one has wanted to be around the princess. As she reaches marriageable age, the emperor announces that whoever can successfully cure the princess's condition will be granted her hand in marriage. Shen Mengxi (played by Richie Ren) is a poor flower farmer who competes with other renowned doctors, but the chief royal physician (played by Eric Tsang) complicates matters for Mengxi to ensure that his disciple wins. He allows Mengxi to continue researching new medicines to help the princess. He unexpectedly meets a fishmonger girl, Han Xiang (played by Miriam Yeung), who also has the same odor and is willing to help him conduct experiments. After several failures, the two embark on a journey to find fragrant flower ingredients, and their feelings for each other grow stronger. As the deadline approaches, Mengxi reaches the palace and sees the princess, only to realize that she is the girl he knows best.
