Intro: Memory FractureEngineer Jennings (played by Ben Affleck) is a high-tech genius. He is repeatedly hired for various project research and earns substantial rewards, but due to high confidentiality, the condition is that after completion, he must have his short-term memory erased. This time, Jennings' task comes with a sky-high reward, and he must devote several years to the development of this new product. When the product is completed, something unexpected happens. Jennings does not receive the promised payment; instead, he finds an envelope containing a statement in which he voluntarily waives his reward. Jennings is greatly surprised, and when he tries to get to the bottom of the situation, he discovers that the trouble is only escalating. The FBI and the company's boss are relentlessly pursuing him, aiming to eliminate him. This series of mysterious events leads Jennings to believe that there must be some unknown truth behind it all.
