Many Japanese soldiers captured during the war began their journey home after being rehabilitated, including Private Nakamura, who had bowed legs (played by Pan Changjiang). However, even at this dying moment, the greed of imperialism showed no signs of abating. Wheelchair-bound General (played by Hu Xiaoguang) had recovered and personally took on the responsibility of commanding the warship Adow to transport wounded soldiers back home, but the Adow also had a secret mission: to smuggle cultural relics plundered from China out of the country. In his last moments, the old professor entrusted a Coke bottle containing the list to Uncle Guo (played by Guo Da), who served as a liaison. The Eighth Route Army and the forces in Chongqing became aware of the Japanese conspiracy and took action. In the midst of these events, a larger conspiracy quietly came to light...
