Suffering from a terminal illness, Landis uses this technology to gain a new lease on life, but the cost is that he must absorb others' lives to sustain his own. After going through superhero training, Rick reluctantly begins his journey as a city hero, and a showdown with the villain known as 'Sands' is inevitable...
