Intro： Crimson XiangxiIn 1939, the war of resistance against Japan entered a difficult stalemate phase, and the iron hooves of the Japanese invaders were blocked on the Hunan battlefield, making Hunan the frontline of the war of resistance. Comrade Tong Lian, entrusted by the Party organization, undertook a special mission to open a secret underground transport line for delivering war supplies to the front in Hunan, disguised as a staff member of the Hunan Provincial Anti-Japanese Salvation Charity Association. At the foot of the Xuefeng Mountains in western Hunan, centered around the town of Mxip, the area known as "Ganzi Camp" has been home to the "Ganzi People" of Jiugong and Shizhai for generations. Tian Dayou, who opened an oil mill, lived a peaceful life in the mountains with his daughter Sui Sui. Mxip welcomed a grand Dragon Boat Festival, where Sui Sui fell in love at first sight with the young man Shi San Nu. Meanwhile, Long Yaowu and Long Yaowen, the grandsons of the Dragon Town chief in Mxip, also took a liking to Sui Sui. However, Sui Sui did not realize that Shi San Nu was the adopted son of Ma Daguai, the leader of a faction that had been feuding with the Ganzi Camp for generations. On this day, while transporting war relief supplies through Mxip, Tong Lian was robbed by the faction but was saved by Tian Dayou. Unfortunately, Ma Daguai recognized Tian Dayou as the enemy who had killed his adoptive brother Shi Tianbao sixteen years ago.
