Intro： The Pursuit of a Young Lady (Cantonese)At the same auto repair shop, the sharp-tongued Lan Kou Fa (played by Chow Yun-fat), Traffic Light (played by Chan Bak Cheung), and Wu Jun Shao (played by Eric Tsang) are colleagues and friends, all of whom disdain their boss Liu Ding Jian (played by Fung Shui Fan) for his stinginess and meanness. Lan Kou Fa suffers through a painful breakup with his girlfriend (played by Cheung Man) due to her snobbish mother. Liu Ding Jian suggests that the guys join a cheap travel group to Penang, but upon arrival, they realize that the tour package is misleading. In Penang, Lan Kou Fa and the others meet Dong Dong (played by Maggie Cheung), who is filming an advertisement there, along with her friend Man Zi. Lan Kou Fa tries to get closer to Dong Dong by pretending to be a rich heir, and Dong Dong also deceives him by portraying herself as a wealthy girl. When they attend a ball, they offend a real rich boy Zhao Wan Xian, who also takes a liking to Dong Dong. To take revenge on Lan Kou Fa, Zhao exposes his true identity to Dong Dong, leaving her heartbroken. Dong Dong plans to attend Zhao Wan Xian's ball, unaware that the scheming Zhao has ulterior motives, prompting Lan Kou Fa and the others to come to her rescue.
