The film presents a moving love story between a couple Jack (played by Chen Liqian) and Shalifa (played by Qasrina Karim).Their families have rich traditions of food, and fathers on both sides are chefs.Shalifa is a Malay and a TV show producer.Her father, Rahim, is a highly acclaimed Malay chef who works with his daughter in a tacit understanding.Jack is a Chinese chef, and his father, "Brother Long", is the owner and chef of a traditional teahouse, running a hotel that has been passed down from generation to generation.He hopes to train Jack to become the heir to the teahouse.However, Jack and Shalifa's love was misunderstood and strongly opposed by both fathers because they came from different ethnic backgrounds.The two chef fathers disliked each other and decided to decide the winner by hosting the food program and interracial love as bets in the TV station's food stage competition.This game became a concentrated manifestation of the struggle and conflict between the two families.
