The various entangled situations of romantic relationships: intensity and tenderness, ugliness and beauty, heartbreak and healing, reality and romance, all abound in "Post-Marital Affairs." This series about love and marriage features only one to two narrators per episode. Through the switching of narrators, narrative perspectives, and timelines, it continually overturns and repositions our understanding of characters and events, highlighting that the world of love is always a Rashomon, with numerous versions, leaving the parties involved perplexed. The entire series is divided into four parts: divorce, infidelity, misguided love, and restoration, exploring situations or questions that everyone has experienced: What is love? Why get married? Why cheat? Why divorce? Why seek revenge? How to let go? How to recover? How to stay together into old age? Perhaps, only by daring to face the ugly, obscure, and fragmented aspects of human nature can there be a chance to mend the cracks in a relationship.
