Intro： Family environmentTwo Iranian girls who met at school. One girl lives with her uncle because her parents, who did not support the Iranian revolutionary government, have been executed. In an Islamic society that represses their freedoms, the two spiritually inclined girls transition from friends to exploring same-sex love in both their hearts and bodies. The girl from the wealthy family has an older brother who, originally talented in music, begins to regress into the Islamic faith like a hermit crab after losing his balance in life — abandoning freedom in hopes of finding solace in spiritual blindness. The increasingly conservative brother falls in love with his sister’s friend, who is also his sister’s secret lover, and plots to marry the orphan girl who has lost her parents. After marriage, the sister and her newlywed brother-in-law still struggle with their old feelings. However, all of this is recorded by the surveillance cameras set up by the brother.
