The lost 'Wordless Sutra' obtained by Tang Seng during his journey to the West has become the target of both the Chinese and Japanese governments. To prevent the Japanese from getting it first, the Chinese government invites archaeological expert Wei Yixin and his apprentice Bao Jiaoxiao (played by Takeshi Kaneshiro) to trace the whereabouts of the Sutra.
