The story of "Red Faction: Origins" will continue with the game's background and character design: 25 years have passed since Alec Mason led the Mars colony to freedom, and it's been 12 years since his wife was killed and his daughter Lyra was kidnapped. Alec has been a broken hero since then. His only remaining son, Jake Mason, has now become an officer in the Red Faction Militia. When he discovers that his sister, who was kidnapped 12 years ago, is still alive, his world is turned upside down. Although new enemies are swarming to Mars, Jake is determined to find his sister. However, he discovers that Lyra has now become part of the opposing forces, a cold-blooded warrior, vowing to destroy the Red Faction. Kate Vernon will play The Matriarch, the leader of the invaders.
