In this episode, the brave detective Chen Jiaju (played by Jackie Chan) travels to the mainland, disguised as a prisoner to infiltrate an international arms and drug smuggling ring. With the help of the beautiful police officer Yang Jianhua (played by Michelle Yeoh), Jiaju successfully gets close to the group's imprisoned member Bao Qiang (played by Yuan Hua). Bao Qiang sees Jiaju as a trusted confidant and plans an escape with him. To keep a low profile, Jiaju readily agrees to the plan. After their escape, Bao Qiang suggests they hide in Jiaju's fabricated hometown, and thanks to Yang Jianhua's prior arrangements, they manage to avoid revealing their true identities. Yang Jianhua claims to be Jiaju's sister and joins them. They go to Hong Kong to meet the boss of the group, Cai Ba, and successfully become part of the organization. Cai Ba, along with his men, heads to Kuala Lumpur to rescue his kidnapped wife, where they encounter Jiaju's girlfriend, Mei (played by Maggie Cheung). Unaware that Jiaju is on a mission, Mei mistakenly believes he is having an affair with Yang Jianhua. Mei's actions raise suspicions among the group members, leading to an imminent showdown!
