In 2009, one year before the meeting of Asa Taima (played by Erika Toda) and Benryu Sefumi (played by Ryo Kase). After returning from studying at the FBI in the United States, Taima was assigned to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Public Security Bureau, specifically the Special Measures Section for Unresolved Cases of the Fifth Division, under the direct leadership of Section Chief Kotaro Nonomura.
