The film tells the story of the nine-ring Jinfeng Decision Song Baodao that the emperor gave to the Yang family fell into Liao country after Yang Ye died in battle. Yang Bajie and Yang Jiumei went to Liao Kingdom to regain their treasure sword. On the way back, they met Jiao Guangpu, a Song general who was wandering in a foreign land. The two sides did not fight and met each other, and then joined hands to escort Baodao back to their hometown.
