"The Waste Brothers" tells the story of a group of enthusiastic yet confused entrepreneurs led by Xu Zhi Yi (played by Wang Ning) and Zhang Xiao Jiao (played by Xiu Rui). They lack a strong background, sufficient startup funds, and a powerful patron who can summon influence at will. They live together in a high-end office building, sharing an office that is only one and a half square meters. They fulfill multiple roles as CEO, employees, finance, legal, sales, and even cleaning staff. Sometimes they help each other, sometimes they have internal conflicts and nonsense, but they always strive hard for their entrepreneurial dreams.
