The story takes place in San Francisco, where the Asian mafia has a strong presence. FBI Asian detective Tom kills a mafia hitman to save his colleague Jack (played by Jason Statham), bringing disaster upon his family. When Jack arrives at Tom's vacation cabin, Tom's family has already been burned to ashes. The tragic death of Tom's family becomes an irreparable regret for Jack, torturing him constantly.
