In episode 27, Ryotaro and his friends go back in time to track down the evil demon god, but they are unaware that they have fallen into a trap set by King牙. When Ryotaro and the others defeat the evil demon god and attempt to return to the Den-Liner, they discover that the Den-Liner has been hijacked by King牙. Everyone is forced to stay in the past, and in the worst-case scenario, Ryotaro loses all his memories of becoming Den-O, which prevents Momotaros from possessing Ryotaro's body. By chance, Ryotaro meets the 10-year-old version of himself (referred to as 'Little Ryotaro' in the show) and the evil demon god Zig, and with Sakurai's help, he begins a journey to track down the Den-Liner. On the other hand, King牙, who returns to the Edo period, successfully seizes the godly train Gao-Liner and captures Ryotaro, then rides Gao-Liner back to December 26, 1988. In 1988, Ryotaro regains his memories but is unable to transform due to King牙's interference. Just then, Sakurai arrives with reinforcements, which are three different versions of Ryotaro from various times. Thus, four different forms of Den-O appear simultaneously, leading to the climax of the battle...
