Officer Li Weng-sum (played by Lam Tak-Hua) realized that the officers in the tape were himself and his colleagues, while the victim of the violence was a criminal known as "Big Marijuana." Therefore, Ah-Sum decided to cover up the incident above while looking for "Big Marijuana" to resolve the matter privately. Meanwhile, "Big Marijuana" went missing. Officer Ma Ba (played by Lee Gwok-Lin) sought help from the police due to financial issues but was denied assistance. In another incident, he was violently knocked down by his superior, pushing Ma Ba to the brink of despair.
