Intro： Seize the CupThe story takes place during the Anti-Japanese War. The porcelain master Hao Maoting is betrayed by the traitor Tang Huatao, and the Japanese learn that Hao Maoting's family possesses a national treasure, the Jun porcelain General's Zun. Hao Maoting sends his daughter Hao Meizhen (played by Ping'an) to flee with the General's Zun in the dead of night, but Hao Maoting and his wife are killed by the Japanese soldier Katayama Kouichi (played by Chunyu Shanshan). The family servant Hong De (played by Wang Hongxiang), who is away on business, witnesses the tragedy of his master’s family. Having served the Hao family for many years, he is filled with rage. He goes out late at night to protect Meizhen as they visit Hao Maoting and his wife's graves, only to be followed by a lurking Japanese agent. In order to protect Meizhen, Hong De is captured by the Japanese, and the General's Zun falls into their hands. Katayama Kouichi, not satisfied with just obtaining the General's Zun, wants to acquire the formula for making Jun porcelain as well. He devises a plan to let Hong De go and has the beautiful spy Maruoi Rinzi disguise herself as a Chinese girl Bai Ling to save Hong De and gain his trust.
