Intro: Every day when I get home, I see my wife pretending to be dead. The office worker Kaga Michiru (played by Akira Yasuda), who has experienced a failed marriage, and his second wife, Chie (played by Nana Eikura), have been married for three years. The 'three-year itch' is approaching, and both must seriously consider whether it is necessary to continue their marriage. One night after work, Michiru is horrified to find Chie lying in a pool of blood, only to quickly realize that his wife is pretending to be dead to make him laugh. Initially, he thought it was just a whim, but soon Chie starts to stage elaborate death scenes every day in front of him. Michiru struggles to play along with his wife's performances while also reflecting on the deeper meaning behind Chie's actions. He confides in his workplace friend Sano (played by Ryohei Otani), who appears to have a happy marriage but also faces insurmountable obstacles. As Chie's performances continue, the question remains: where will their marriage go from here...? The film is inspired by a question posted on Yahoo Chiebukuro in Japan in 2010, which garnered significant attention online for the wife's unusual behavior.
