Intro： Family ReunionYan Nanguo (played by Xu Guanyuan) has been separated from her sister A Ping (played by Zheng Yawen), who married and moved to Hong Kong, for many years. Although A Ping often sends money and goods, Yan Nanguo mostly uses it to help the villagers, spending her days jumping and working in the woods, living a carefree life. One day, Yan Nanguo finally decides to travel to Hong Kong to visit her sister and her rumored wealthy brother-in-law, Huang Jiafan (played by Huang Baoming). However, upon her arrival, she finds out that the reality is quite different. A Ping's family of four is cramped in a small two-bedroom apartment with Jiafan's unmarried younger sister, Huang Jialing (played by Wang Zuxian), who is a flight attendant. Huang Jiafan is barely managing the household on his income as a shoe store employee. Meanwhile, the Huang family feels quite uncomfortable with Yan Nanguo's rough countryside style, which creates many conflicts under one roof. Yan Nanguo is introduced by Huang Jiafan to work at the shoe store, but she is kicked out by the boss's wife after just one day; soon after, she also messes up Jia Ling's relationship with a wealthy businessman’s son.
