Growing up in a single-parent family and influenced by her father's numerous tattoos, art major Sheng Shang (played by Chu Xu) has a passion for tattoos and possesses a cold personality, making her an 'alternative' figure at school. Sheng Shang had once promised her first love that they would tattoo each other's portraits on the backs of their hands, but just before what Sheng Shang considered a 'sacred' tattoo, her first love abandoned her. Heartbroken, Sheng Shang vowed that if a man ever got her self-portrait tattooed on his body, he would be her destined one, and she would marry him.
