He embarks on an affair with the coffee shop's chef, Anno Kitakasato (played by Saki Aibu), who encourages him to kill his wife. Just as the plan is set to be carried out, Tomoriya seems to be kidnapped. The kidnappers demand a ransom of 200 million yen, threatening to kill Tomoriya otherwise.
