Intro： DetectiveGeniuses and madmen are often just two descriptions of the same person. Detective Chen Guibin (played by Liu Qingyun) is such a character; like the genius painter Van Gogh, he once cut off his own ear. The crime scene is in the woods, and after two officers, Wang Guozhu (played by Li Guolin) and Gao Zhiwei (played by Lin Jiadong), handle the case, only Gao Zhiwei returns safely, while Wang Guozhu and his gun mysteriously disappear. He Jia'an invites Chen Guibin to provide insights, but little does he expect Chen Guibin's mad behaviors to once again be fully revealed in the investigation process. He determines that Gao Zhiwei is the murderer and builds his reasoning on a lot of his own imagination. He claims to see Gao Zhiwei's 'seven deadly sins,' which led Gao Zhiwei to a path of crime.
