Intro： Police Academy 3: Back in TrainingIn order to save financial expenditures, the state government plans to close one of the two police academies led by Lassare and Mauser respectively. To outperform each other in the competitive environment, both principals use their abilities; Mauser flatters in front of the governor and the education supervisor, while secretly placing two insiders at the Lassare police academy. Meanwhile, Lassare recalls outstanding former students to serve as instructors. Thus, Mahoney (played by Steve Guttenberg), the big black man, Tackleberry and three others return to the police academy. To win, Mauser drives away students he finds unsatisfactory to Lassare’s side, quickly gathering a group of quirky students at the Lassare police academy: from the timid glasses-wearing boy and the thug from the last episode, to an exchange student proficient in karate. Mahoney and the others must turn these trainees into qualified police officers in a short period of time, but this task is not simple. Besides the inherent limitations of the trainees themselves, Mauser's group is also secretly sabotaging efforts...
