Intro: Timeliness PoliceMisty Mountain Shuuichirou (played by Ryo Odagiri) is a policeman working in the statute of limitations management division. Due to the department's very relaxed work environment, Shuuichirou and his colleagues find themselves with nothing to do all day. One day, when everyone is discussing their hobbies, Shuuichirou realizes he doesn't have any hobbies and decides to develop one. He sets his sights on the statute of limitations files, deciding to investigate cases that have expired in order to identify the criminals behind them. Mikazuki Shizuku (played by Kumiko Asoue), who works in the traffic division, has a secret crush on Shuuichirou, so she often visits the statute of limitations management division to seize opportunities to interact with him. Together, Shuuichirou and Mikazuki uncover some mysteries in a pile of expired cases, engaging with the criminals and unfolding a different kind of reasoning story.
