Intro： The ReturnerOn October 19, 2002, Miyamoto (played by Takeshi Kaneshiro), who specializes in attacking criminal transaction sites to obtain large sums of money, discovers during one of his operations that one of the parties involved in the transaction is actually his archenemy, Gogokubo (played by Goro Kishitani). Gogokubo had killed Miyamoto's old friend, and as Miyamoto is intent on revenge, he is interrupted by the sudden appearance of a girl named Miri (played by An Suzuki), who forces him to let Gogokubo escape. Miri claims to be a person from the future, specifically from the year 2084. The future world is under attack by aliens, and the surviving humans hiding in Tibet are trying to use a malfunctioning transporter to send Miri back to 2002 to change history and save humanity. With only two days left to complete her mission, Miri has no choice but to ask Miyamoto for help in saving the world. Miyamoto scoffs at Miri's story; his primary enemy to deal with is the Gogokubo who has ties to the Triads. However, under Miri's pressure, Miyamoto reluctantly takes on the role of the savior...
