To draw in more tourists, the company instructed the creative lab to engineer a Tyrannosaurus rex by combining the genes of different animals to create a creature that embodies power, speed, and intelligence. Claire (played by Bryce Dallas Howard), who is in charge, originally planned to have Owen Grady (played by Chris Pratt), who specializes in Velociraptors, assess the protective facilities for the T. rex. However, this terrifying monster managed to evade the surveillance of advanced instruments and human eyes, escaping with lightning speed outside and then launching a indiscriminate bloody massacre against all living creatures it encountered.
