Fei Bao (played by Sammo Hung) spends his days deceiving and manipulating others, ignoring the punishments from his father (also played by Sammo Hung) while teaming up with his friend Xiao Hai (played by Meng Hai) to cheat and con people. The duo encounters the skillful female con artist Lily (played by Loletta Lee), and they wish to get a share of her success but end up being targeted by Lily's enemies. Xiao Hai is captured and taken hostage, prompting Fei Bao to rescue him. However, nothing goes as planned, leading Fei Bao to vent his frustrations on his deceased grandfather, the 'Gambling King' Hong Jiu (also played by Sammo Hung). Hong Jiu, insulted by his grandson, along with a desire for revenge against his enemies and their descendants, returns as an angry spirit to assist Fei Bao in dominating the casino and successfully rescuing Xiao Hai. After gaining benefits, Fei Bao wants to rid himself of Hong Jiu but ultimately refrains due to familial bonds.
