The Huang family is a lineage of police officers. Huang Erniu and his son, along with four daughters, all served in the police force. Although their father Huang Erniu died in the line of duty, the remaining children continued to serve in the Royal Hong Kong Police under the leadership of Grandma Huang. Their daughter-in-law Gao Liping (played by Gao Lihong) is also a senior police officer, but due to various factors including work and personal feelings, the Huang daughters often feel resentful towards Gao, causing her much distress. Gao's husband, their son Hui (played by Leung Ka Fai), is also caught in the middle, feeling conflicted. However, Grandma Huang is very fond of Gao and hopes she can continue the Huang family line. The police received news that a gang of Vietnamese was planning to rob the World's Night Club and set a trap, with Mr. and Mrs. Huang as commanders. Due to a moment of impulsiveness from their eldest daughter Huang Jialing (played by Liu Jialing), the operation fails, and Jialing mistakenly believes Gao caused her suspension, intensifying the conflict between the sister-in-law and her. Unexpectedly, the Vietnamese gang becomes more ruthless and kills the eldest son of the Huang family...
