Many years ago, Mao Wuxie was a brilliant rising star in the world of feng shui and metaphysics, well-versed in various schools of thought, and even possessed the skills to summon spirit guardians and communicate with gods and spirits. He was a recognized genius, arrogant and unstoppable due to his talent, even claiming he could bring the dead back to life with a few words. Later, Mao Wuxie took on an impossible task assigned by a wealthy underworld figure out of greed. After his schemes were exposed, he inadvertently opened the gates to the underworld, resulting in 108 evil spirits roaming the night and invading the human realm. Mao Wuxie attempted suicide but lacked the courage; he wanted to return to his former profession but had lost all his spiritual powers, rendering him unable to repel spirits or even read the Luopan and destiny charts properly. To survive, he could only rely on running feng shui classes and helping celebrities release seafood to make some money, becoming, in the eyes of others, a useless person just scraping by. Mao Wuxie noticed a series of strange deaths linked to rare evil spirits, and more and more innocent victims were involved...
