In the distant depths of the universe, with the destruction of Krypton, the legendary story of Superman unfolds. Kryptonian Jor-El (Russell Crowe) fiercely resists General Zod's (Michael Shannon) evil plan, daringly sending his newborn son, Kal-El, to Earth on the other side of the galaxy. Kal lands in a small town in Kansas, USA, where he is fortunate to become the adopted son of Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner) and Martha (Diane Lane), and is named Clark. From a young age, Clark displays extraordinary abilities and characteristics, but these bring him not only amazement but also countless troubles. Through the guidance of his adoptive father, Clark (Henry Cavill) slowly uncovers his identity and the mission he must undertake. Finally, one day, “kinfolk” from his distant homeland arrive.
