This film is co-directed by Chiu Chun-Kiang and Lee Tai-Heng. The story describes that during World War II, a red singer named Ah Hua (played by Kwan Mei-Bao) was murdered and robbed of her jewelry and money by the wealthy landowner Mr. Tao while fleeing. From then on, the Tao residence frequently experienced hauntings. Shortly after, Mr. Tao mysteriously died, and his family moved away, leaving the house abandoned. Years later, Mr. Tao's descendant Tao Ming (played by Koo Kwan-Chung) is addicted to gambling and, due to the troubles caused by Ah Hua's ghost, accumulates massive debts. Ming's wife secretly sells the old Tao residence to Professor Yang and his wife (played by Lau Wing and Chien Wai-Yee). After moving in, Yang encounters continuous strange occurrences, forcing him to believe in ghostly tales that lack any scientific basis...
