Li Hongsheng (played by Lin Jinfeng) is a money laundering expert within the gang, seasoned in battles with a wealth of experience, earning the trust and reliance of the boss. However, one day, Li Hongsheng encounters the most significant crisis of his career when five million in dirty money he was handling is robbed by a mysterious masked thief. The boss demands that Li Hongsheng quickly retrieve the funds, or risk losing his life, so Li Hongsheng has no choice but to seek help from the top lawyer Jiang Dong (played by Jiao Enjun). What nobody expected was that the lost huge sum of money somehow got entangled with a small driver, Liang Kun (played by Hu Shuangquan). Detective Wang Wei (played by Lian Kai) notices Li Hongsheng's suspicious behavior and promptly begins an investigation into him. Meanwhile, the son of the gang boss, Cheng Jianfeng (played by Han Qiuchi), is kidnapped and goes missing.
