The young Martin (played by Connor Paolo) has his family killed by vampires on a rainy night, but fortunately, a stranger who calls himself "Mr." (played by Nick Damici) arrives just in time to save Martin. From then on, as America succumbs to the attack of vampires and national organizations are destroyed, Martin follows in Mr.'s footsteps, embarking on a journey to the north in search of freedom under the latter's training. They rescue a nun from a mob but are subsequently captured by the Christian Brotherhood, who firmly believe that vampires are God's emissaries sent to purify the Earth. They collaborate with the vampires to launch an assault on humanity, and after killing Brotherhood members, Martin and Mr. are sentenced to death but manage to escape. They continue their journey towards the northern land of freedom, facing blockades from the Brotherhood and an unknown fate along the way...
