However, some excellent detective work tracks the killer to a remote area in the Pacific Northwest. Tom Berenger, a mountain climber and hermit, believes that a city kid like Poitier is not suited to be here, as he possesses the essential skills required to complete the job. The two are forced into a troublesome alliance.
