"Sheep Goes into the Cauldron" tells the story of Lao Jiu (played by He Jiang) and his childhood friend Guo Guo (played by Luo Mu) who, while drinking and eating skewers by the roadside, stand up for the stuttering KTV girl Nana (played by Wan Sijia) and end up waking up from a drunken night at her home. They come up with a money-making scheme, and Guo Guo thinks of a wealthy, henpecked husband, Chen Hong, but when they see Chen Hong's wife Ab (played by Yang Yang), they get especially intimidated. So the three of them decide to set up a scheme to extort Chen Hong. Nana is tasked with seducing Chen Hong back home while Guo Guo and Lao Jiu take photos to blackmail him. However, the person they encounter is not Chen Hong, but his arch-rival Xiao Yunfei, who just happens to be driving Chen Hong's car that day to settle a debt. Thus, the three losers end up being used by Xiao Yunfei... along the way, they experience various absurd and funny awkward situations.
