By chance, Kairin becomes infatuated with the dazzling senior Kokumizu, and deep down, she has already deemed him her destined partner. One day, Kairin hears shocking news from her father (played by Masahiro Takashima) that, at the age of 16, she will be marrying the son-in-law selected by her father. Initially planning to resist stubbornly, Kairin soon discovers that her betrothed turns out to be Kokumizu, which is quite a happy surprise.
