 Synopsis
This is the first film directed by Ng Man-tat, where the director attempts to reveal the shackles brought by environmental changes and social progress through the interactions and fates of the characters in the film, calling for mutual trust among people. Lan Tou (played by Ng Man-tat) is an ordinary Hong Kong policeman, and his gun's serial number 9413 seems to foretell his tragic fate. Lan Tou is now on the brink of mental collapse, having lost all his memories. His only way out is to seek help from a psychiatrist, as he has always wanted to escape from his current state of life— a dirty and chaotic world, but he seems forever unable to return to his past clean and bright world...
