 Synopsis
Graham (played by James Spader) has a peculiar habit of recording various women, who candidly share their sexual experiences and details in front of his camera. When Graham returns to his hometown after many years, he has nothing but a car and these videotapes. So he temporarily stays at the home of his classmate John. John (played by Peter Gallagher) is a successful man who has been having an affair with his wife Anne's (played by Andie MacDowell) sister Cynthia, while neglecting his wife. While Anne accompanies Graham to look for a rental house, they have a long conversation about sex in a restaurant, where Anne admits she doesn’t place much importance on her sex life, while Graham reveals his secret: he is impotent. By chance, Anne discovers the videotapes Graham made with various women, and feeling despondent due to her husband’s indifference, she decides to make her own recording.
