Meg (played by Storm Reid) is an ordinary 10-year-old girl who is small in stature and shy in personality, often bullied by her classmates at school, which causes her great distress. In reality, Meg has an extraordinary pair of parents; both are world-renowned physicists, and Meg has inherited their excellent genes, though they have yet to be activated. During an adventure, Meg's father goes missing, which strikes her deeply. Meg's younger brother Charles (played by Deric McCabe) can't bear to see his sister unhappy, so he summons the three Fates. They provide Meg with clues about her father's whereabouts, prompting her to embark on a journey to find him alongside her brother and a classmate, Calvin (played by Levi Miller), who has a crush on her.
