Once upon a time, the King of Hell was defeated and sealed deep underground. Now, he is stirring and attempting to break the seal to return to the human world. The kind-hearted monk Cikong (played by Yoshigata Ken) and Master Gufeng (played by Takao) learned of this news and sent their disciples, Kongque (played by Yuan Biao) and Jixiangguo (played by Hiroshi Misaki), to confront him. In the demonic pit opened by the Hell Messenger Ashura (played by Ye Yuny), and Roma (played by Wang Xiaofeng), Kongque and Jixiangguo engage in a fierce battle with the King of Hell. During the confrontation, Ashura accidentally loses her life, and so, Kongque takes Ashura's body back to Tibet, hoping that his master can save her life. Afterward, Kongque discovers that he and Jixiangguo are actually long-lost brothers and the only two in the world capable of defeating the King of Hell. Burdened with a huge mission, Kongque and Jixiangguo embark on their journey.
