The story describes how the cartoonist Edgar moves back in with his parents after his divorce and discovers a magical puppet in his brother's old room. He is tempted to sell it at a commemoration event for the 30th anniversary of the Toulon murders. When he arrives with his new girlfriend Ashley, he finds that they are not the only ones wanting to sell the puppet; all the puppets come to life, closing in on them and targeting a few ethnic groups. Although it belongs to the puppet series, this film closely resembles the 1968 classic 'Night of the Living Dead,' unfolding its plot in a small inn where tourists and residents must band together against the threat. Edgar's monologue explains to the audience why Toulon created these puppets; they are small but can easily overpower you in the most unlikely circumstances. The film forces us to confront fears from the real world while building a virtual structure that allows the audience to immerse themselves in their own fantasy of a violent world.
