Five Fortune Stars Encounter Ghosts

The five friends, Zhegu Cai (played by Sammo Hung), Huaqi Shen (played by Chin Siu-Ho), Rhinoceros Skin (played by Lau Ching-Wan), Da Sheng Di (played by Wu Yiu-Han), and Luo Han Guo (played by Eric Tsang), have recently felt extremely bored. They each brag about going out to pick up girls, but end up with nothing. In their utmost boredom, the Five Lucky Stars decide to take a trip to an outlying island. Along the way, they encounter constant troubles, yet they enjoy themselves. Just as they are having fun at night, they hear strange noises coming from a neighboring vacant mansion. Da Sheng Di and Zhegu Cai take the risk to investigate, only to discover both a male and a female ghost. The next day, they report it to Ba Wang Hua (played by Judy Hu), who, although skeptical of the Five Lucky Stars’ claims, sends the four stunning female police officers, including Liang Lai Di, to investigate. They initially plan to scare the four female officers in the haunted house, but instead, Liang gets possessed by the male ghost (played by Chan Bak-Chew). The male ghost was brutally murdered in his lifetime, leading to the loss of his beloved, and after death, he is also trapped by a greedy female ghost. The five friends are determined to help him fulfill his wish...
