In 2023, the new government in the United States implemented the "Human Purge Plan," entering its sixth year. This extreme and misguided policy aimed to suppress the rising unemployment and crime rates, but during this time, more and more innocent people were being killed, while the wealthy enjoyed their drinks, fat and content, participating in the annual slaughter fest in a seemingly noble and elegant manner. As the massacre was about to begin, a couple on the brink of breaking up, Shane (played by Zach Gilford) and Liz (played by Kiele Sanchez), had their car break down on the road, and they frantically searched for a place to hide. Eva (played by Carmen Ejogo), who had just lost her most important family member, and her daughter Carly (played by Zoë Soul) were hiding at home, but misfortune was unavoidable. At a critical moment, the mother and daughter were saved by Sergeant (played by Frank Grillo), who was patrolling the city streets. Meanwhile, Shane and Liz accidentally ended up in the sergeant's car. New grudges and old hatreds, alongside various grievances towards the world, exploded on this night, putting fragile lives to the severest test.
