After their last prison break, the characters Gung Tong (played by Tam Yiu Man), Kin Tin (played by Pak Tin Nam), Scar (played by Cheung Kin Sang), and Ho Ching (played by Cheung Chi Chung) have undergone significant changes in personality and behavior. They all try to keep a low profile, hoping to complete their sentence as quickly as possible, which brings a long-awaited peace to the prison. Young entrepreneur Ho Jun (played by Ng Chuek Hei) is accused of inciting others to commit crimes and is temporarily remanded in custody while awaiting trial, which will not take place for another three months. However, used to being in a powerful position, Ho Jun is not accustomed to bowing down to others, and thus adheres to the business principle that money can solve problems. He successfully tempts two major factions in prison, the minions of Gung Tong and Scar, to side with him, creating a new situation in which Ho Jun dominates the prison. When Ho Jun learns that there is a new witness against him, potentially leading to a life sentence, he offers a large sum of money to Gung Tong, Kin Tin, Scar, and Ho Ching, who previously escaped from prison, to help him escape, promising that he will arrange for everyone to flee together to Thailand. However, the others have changed their mindset; they are not motivated by money, but rather by their families and loyalties, and firmly refuse to obey Ho Jun for financial gain. In desperation, Ho Jun resorts to using their weaknesses as leverage and employs various methods to force them into compliance, ultimately leading to an unwilling submission.
