Although the lazy and gluttonous Aji (played by Ng Chun-yu) is nominally the manager of a certain department in a large company, he has nothing to do all day. The company decides to lay off employees due to the economic downturn, and the method is a talent competition. Neither Aji nor Ajiu has any special skills to showcase, and just when they're feeling hopeless, Aji's uncle (played by Anthony Wong) reminds him that he comes from a family renowned for lion dancing. They decide to perform the increasingly overlooked lion dance. However, before they can showcase their talents, the company goes out of business. Aji and Ajiu sit dejectedly on the street with a large lion head, which attracts the attention of passersby. Encouraged by the potential to make money, the two dance with the lion head. Just as they are getting into it, the police arrive to intervene, leading to a heated argument that garners media attention. Unexpectedly, this incident rekindles interest in lion dancing among Hong Kong residents, making Aji and Ajiu overnight celebrities.
