Railway Guardian

During the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, after the conspiracy to bomb the Yalu River Bridge by the American imperialists failed, the enemy's Far East Intelligence Bureau was unwilling to accept defeat. They dispatched the agent Ma Xiaofei (played by Luo Tai) to meet the female agent Wang Manli (played by Ye Linlang), who was working as a train attendant, and colluded with the hidden agent Wu Jichun (played by Fang Hua), who owned a pharmacy in Benxi. They instructed the agent Xu Fuxiang (played by Jin Lin) to sabotage our troops' trains, and afterwards silenced him. Gao Jian, the head of the Railway Public Security's Investigation Division, mobilized the masses to launch a struggle against espionage. He himself adopted the alias Gu Yeping to infiltrate the enemy's ranks and had railway operator He Lanying (played by Song Xuejuan) assist him in his work, allowing him to grasp the enemy's activity plans and undercover lists. Ma Xiaofei recruited a large number of exiled landlord elements through Wu Jichun, hoping to sabotage our transportation lines at three different locations simultaneously, but this conspiracy was thwarted when Wu Jichun was shot dead by Erlengzi (played by Li Bo). When one plot failed, the enemy placed a timed bomb on the train that was about to pass through the Changling Tunnel...
